When SCM is unavailable patient information can be accessed from the SCM Downtime website on the Insite SCM page, on any workstation that has the SCM icon. The SCM Downtime reports can be viewed or printed, for the duration of a downtime, so long as the AHS network is still available.

The reports default to show all patients on the unit. However, this can be modified to select only certain names.

 

If a network outage occurs (no internet/intranet/email), the SCM Downtime website will not work. Staff will be required to access SCM (Sunrise Acute Care) Downtime reports via the MFP (Multi-Function Printer) located on their unit. Refer to the SCM Network Downtime Reports file in your downtime toolkit for a guide with step by step instructions.

The Site Transfer Report includes the following information from SCM:

Consult Report

- when the Time consult was entered

- information regarding whether the Consult was Active or Inactive

- information whether the consult order has been verified

- information regarding the Consult Status 1 and Consult Plan 1 from the ED Status Board

- information regarding the Consult Status 2 and Consult Plan 2 from the ED Status Board

- the UCC Physician and/or the UCC Resident

 

 

Admission Report

- when the Time Admission was entered

- the bed allocation, if entered

- the isolation status

- if the bed request is active or completed and/or Admission order is entered
