Allergies/Intollerances

Allergies and intolerances are listed in the patient header.

 

The Allergy Details button allows you to enter or edit allergies. Allergies and intolerances must be entered in SCM which is considered the source of truth.

 

 

 

Session Type

x

 

The default Session Type is Standard and generally does not need to be adjusted.

 

The other options (Hold, Post Procedure, Pre Procedure, and Suggested Orders) will enter orders with a status of Hold.

 

This requires a clinician to release the orders at a later time to activate them.

 

Search Type

x

 

You can choose to search for an order item by category or manually.

To search by category, use
 to expand and view subcategories and order items.

 

To search manually, enter an order name in the search field.

 

 

 

 

Order Items

x

 

Matches to your search appear here. When you double-click to select an item, it appears in the Order Summary pane below.

Review and confirm that selected orders are correct. Buttons to the right allow you to edit, delete or copy order items.

 

 

 

Submit/Hide/Cancel

x

Orders are not submitted to the system until the Submit button is clicked.

This hides the Order Entry Worksheet so that you can look at other parts of the patient chart.
Reopen the worksheet by clicking
.

Click Cancel to discard the orders in the Order Summary pane and close the worksheet.
