The Patient List can still be accessed to create special lists for patient follow up, education purposes, etc. Special lists cannot be generated from the ED Status Board.

Two new icons appear in Emergency Care:
REPAC (Real-time Emergency Patient Access and Co-ordination): Uses real-time information from zone emergency departments and urgent care centres to display patient volumes, incoming EMS volumes, and the severity of patient conditions.
Expects Tool: Creates a pre-registration in Emergency Care for patients that have not yet arrived in the ED, or that will be returning later.

Views |

Use the Department and View menus to change your view.
Different views are available based on specific user profiles. Use the View drop-down menu to filter patients according to the area you are working in or patient status (e.g., intake, inactive patients, expected patients).
After patients are removed from the ED Status Board (i.e. discharged), they will remain on the Inactive Patients list for 24 hours post discharge.

User Filter Maintenance |

Click User Filter Maintenance to clear or apply filters to the patient list.
The default for the ALL-MD view is the EDMD Filter, which shows only patients that are unassigned and those assigned to you. All other views must have the filter applied manually, which will stay in place until logged out or changed.
