Additional Test Information: | Patient should be on 100g fat/day diet for 3 days prior to starting collection and for the 3 days of collection. Specify if patient is on MCT diet as alternative method must be used. Fat intake gx3.5=mmol fat. In adults > 18 years, if the total fecal weight is less than 300g /72 hour (or <100 g/day), the total weight will be reported, but the fecal fat will not be carried out.
