Additional Test Information: | Definition: A stillbirth has occurred if at the time of extraction or expulsion of the fetus, (showing no signs of life) there is no breathing, beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord or unmistakable movement of voluntary muscle. The gestation of pregnancy is 20 completed weeks or the weight of the extracted/expelled fetus (showing no signs of life) is 500 grams or greater.
