Important information:

It is advised that prior to ordering La Cross (California encephalitis) serology, that testing for other California serogroup viruses (e.g. Jamestown Canyon and Snowshoe Hare) be done. These viruses are found in various areas of Canada whereas acquired infection with La Crosse virus has never been reported in Canada.
