Additional Test Information: | The following information does not apply to Hippuric Acid, or Serotonin - Urine. Refer to individual test pages. Direct patient to obtain container with 25 mL of 6N HCl from Beddington or Riverbend PSC or RRL Outpatient labs. HCl is not available at any other PSC. Specimen may be dropped off at any PSC after collection is complete. 24 Hour Collection For the following tests, Sulfamic acid is the preferred preservative, however HCl is also acceptable: If Sulfamic acid is used, refer to individual test page.
