Specimen Collection Requirements:	Collection Instruction for Rectal Swabs: Moisten the swab with transport medium Insert the tip of the swab approximately 2cm beyond the anal sphincter. Carefully rotate the swab to sample anal crypts. Fecal matter should be visible on the swab. Carefully replace the swab in the collection device without contaminating it.
