Specimen Collection Requirements:	Fill evacuated tubes completely. Microtainer tubes are not acceptable. SST specimen stable uncentrifuged for 1 hour only, therefore it must be centrifuged within 1 hour post collection. DO NOT OPEN TUBE. Must be delivered to the lab ASAP Test is currently restricted to ordering by CRH Laboratory. Transport to lab immediately
Processing:	SST specimens are stable once centrifuged for 3 hours at 25°C and 6 hours at 4°C provided the tubes remain unopened. Lithium Heparin specimens- keep at room temperature and test within one hour of collection.
