For confirmation of RhIG eligibility when RhIG is clinically indicated for a suspected bleed.

Not for routine Perinatal Screening. Refer to Perinatal RBC Screening (CBS).

Test Includes:

Review and interpretation of CBS Perinatal RBC Serology results, if available.
If CBS results are not available and RhIG is required, testing may include:

Method and Interpretation of Results:

An Rh negative, Rh unknown, or Rh variant patient with childbearing potential patient is eligible for RhIG if they have not previously formed an immune anti-D and have potentially been exposed to Rh Positive Red Blood Cells.
