Primary Container:	Sterile container with no fixative
Specimen Collection Requirements:	Refer to Toxicology Specimen Collection Requirements, as required: Copper Level, Tissue (Synonym: Copper Level Liver, Cu) Iron Level, Tissue (Synonym: Dry Weight Iron Liver; FE; Iron Level, Liver) Collect specimen and place in a dry plastic sterile container with no fixative. Other specimen types (i.e. fresh tissue in CLRW, saline, formalin or paraffin block) accepted. NOTE: If both tissue copper and/or iron and routine histology are ordered, at least two full cores are needed. Do not divide a single needle core biopsy for tissue copper/iron and routine histology.
Transportation:	Deliver specimens to the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory. The Anatomic Pathology Laboratory will forward the sample for tissue copper and/or iron quantitation.
