| Clinical Indications: | This test is for diagnosis of galactokinase deficiency and does not detect classical galactosemia (a.k.a., galactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase deficiency). Clasical galactosemia should be ruled out by a normal Galactosemia Screen and/or Galactose-1-Phosphate Uridyltransferase result prior to requesting this test. | ||
