Clinical Indications: | This test is used to: - Predict or confirm red cell phenotype in recently transfused patients and patients being treated with a drug that interferes with phenotyping (eg. daratumumab). - Assist with complex antibody investigation. - Distinguish alloantibody from autoantibody. - Confirm rare or unusual phenotypes. - Provide phenotypically matched blood. Not for Rh(D) genotyping. Refer to Patient RhD Genotyping. | ||
