Clinical Indications: | This test quantitatively detects as little as 0.03% (1.5 mL) of fetal blood in maternal circulation during pregnancy. When an ABO incompatibility exists between mother and child, the fetal cells may be destroyed by the maternal anti A or anti B resulting in misleading under-estimates of the fetal bleed. | ||||
