Collection Alert: | Collect between 7 to 9 hours after the START of infusion. Do a collection after first dose, then once/week (more frequently if patient has renal dysfunction, if renal function changes, or on concurrent nephrotoxic drugs). Best practice is to not draw from an intravenous line through which the drug has been administered as it can produce erroneous results and impact patient care.
