Preliminary or Final: Collect five PALE YELLOW (ACD-A) tubes and two RED tubes; one of the PALE YELLOW (ACD-A) tubes is for ABO Type (TYPETT)

Edmonton:
Collect four PALE YELLOW (ACD-A) tubes and one RED tube

Processing:

DO NOT centrifuge tubes.

Transportation:

Transport IMMEDIATELY at room temperature.

Calgary:

Transport tube with TYPETT PathNet label (one PALE YELLOW (ACD-A)) directly to Foothills Medical Centre Transfusion Medicine.
Transport remaining tubes to Diagnostic and Scientific Centre Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Lab.
