Clinical Indications: | The dried blood spot citrulline quantitation test is intended for the investigation, or therapeutic monitoring of acute or chronic intestinal insufficiency. Additionally, this test may be used for monitoring graft function post intestinal transplantation. | ||
Ordering Alert: | The selected reference ranges for citrulline are intended for the investigation of intestinal dysfunction. Consider alternative testing if there is a suspicion for an inborn error of metabolism. | ||
