| Stability and Storage: | Store plasma frozen Collected (uncentrifuged) specimens are stable at room temperature for up to 3.5 hours | ||
| Processing: | Centrifuge sodium citrate tubes at 2800 RCF for 15 minutes. Aliquot 1 mL of plasma into 2 aliquot tubes. Freeze plasma aliquots at -20oC before transport. | ||
| Transportation: | Transport frozen plasma specimens on dry ice. Specimens must not thaw. | ||
