Do not share tube with other tests. Specimen is stable for 1 hour at R.T. or 8 HOURS at 2 – 8° C | ||
Processing: | GNH, MIS, RAH, SCH, UAH: In-patients: Do not order. Not available to in-patients that have a Blood Gas Analyzer on site. Follow site established protocols and order a blood gas to be tested by Respiratory. Outpatients: Order and send ON ICE immediately to University of Alberta Hospital (UAH).
