Clinical Indications: | Used for evaluating new onset encephalopathy (non-infectious or metabolic). A clinical diagnosis should not be made solely on a neural antibody result. Results should be interpreted in the context of the patient’s clinical presentation and other test findings to ensure accurate diagnosis. The following findings should increase suspicion for autoimmune encephalopathy:
