| Specimen Collection Requirements: | Acceptable specimen: aspirated purulent material or swab from deep (>1cm) within the wound, tissue, fluid, or device (implant, lens). Decontaminate wound surface prior to collection. Submit specimen in Amies transport media or sterile container.
