Processing:

All specimens must be accompanied by a stained peripheral blood smear (PBS) slide.

DO NOT centrifuge or freeze specimen.

Transportation:

Transport at refrigerated temperature.

For testing sent to Calgary from outside Calgary Zone:

Transport at refrigerated temperature by FedEx overnight shipping. Specimen must be received within 24 hours of collection. Fax the tracking number and requisition to 403-270-4135.
