Physical Therapy - Incontinence Services - Community

Through an assessment of a client's condition and a variety of interventions, Physical Therapy will to help maximize one's ability to function and participate in daily life.

Services may be provided individually or in a group and may include:

  • treatment at the clinic or facility
  • education to help you understand your condition and manage daily living
  • an exercise program or other options

Fees

For individuals who meet the eligibility requirements, AHS may cover a limited number of visits (assessment and/or treatment) at listed physiotherapy clinics. Physiotherapy for individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements or require treatments beyond what is covered by AHS, can use their health benefits (e.g., Blue Cross, AISH or other insurance) or pay out of pocket.
