Happy holidays

Dear staff, physicians and volunteers,

I want to reach out and thank you for doing so much for Albertans.

It’s because of you that we were able to reach so many milestones this year, including being recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the second year in a row.

Providing high-quality healthcare and attaining these exemplary standards takes a lot of effort, and I see how hard you work to make this possible. Thank you for everything you do. Together, we do amazing things every day.
               
I encourage you to take a break over the holidays to recharge and spend time with your loved ones. And a special thanks to those of you who will be working over the holidays. Please know how much we appreciate the efforts you make to share the spirit of the season with patients and their families.
                                                                                              
We have a lot to look forward to in 2019 as we reach Alberta Health Services’ 10-year anniversary. I look forward to celebrating it with you.
