The Mood Disorders Program is a subspecialty psychiatry service based at the Foothills Medical Centre.Adults (18+ of age) with a moderate to severe presentation of one of the following: recurrent major depressive disorder bipolar disorder (I or II) first episode depression with a family history of bipolar disorder OR young adult (15 to 25 years of age) with first admission to hospital for any mood disorder timely and comprehensive psychiatric assessment treatment for primary recurrent unipolar and bipolar mood disorder when indicated education research
