TAVI patients are required to have a cardiologist for referral and long term follow up.
PFO referral for Stroke indiciation must come from Stroke Neurology TEE and 48 hour holter monitor are required testing. ASD referrals are recieved from PLC congenital clinic.

Mitral clips are currently not done in Alberta . Currenlty working on funding to send patients to another province.
An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of appointment booking.
Wait times for consult can be up to 3 months. Wait times for a TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Insertion) procedure are currently 3-6 months but are triaged regularly throughout the wait. Urgent patients will be done first. Wait times for other structural heart procedures is 6-12 months after your work up is complete.
