The FMD Clinic is an academic, tertiary care program aimed at assessing patients with FMD for suitability to rehabilitation programs led by the allied health team at South Health Campus.The Functional Movement Disorder Clinic (FMD) is a research clinic, aimed at advancing our understanding of pathophysiology, phenomenology and treatment of FMD. Provides assessment for suitability to rehabilitation, education and rehabilitation for adults with a diagnosis of functional movement disorder (FMD). This service: offers education sessions for patients and care partners teaches basic strategies for managing symptoms of functional movement disorder assesses eligibility for comprehensive rehabilitation, and refers as appropriate to a rehabilitation program provides short-term follow-up for patients who participate in a rehabilitation program
