Child Abuse Service (CAS) is a multidisciplinary, specialized service that assists children, who have been abused or neglected, in order to enhance their bio-psychosocial health and well-being. The service offers: Child Abuse Therapy Stream: assesses the impact of sexual abuse, severe and complex physical abuse and neglect on the referred child provides therapeutic intervention to children and their caregivers to address emotional behavioural and relational challenges associated with the abuse and neglect children who are exhibiting problematic sexual behaviour for which clinical assessment or treatment is needed The Child Abuse Service therapy team does not provide emergency services or parenting capacity assessments
