Pediatric Asthma Clinic

A multidisciplinary, specialty clinic that provides assessment, treatment and coordinating care for children aged 6 months of age to ≤18 years old, with moderate to severe asthma.

Services include:

  • pulmonary function test (breathing test) for children 5-6 + years ( where developmentally appropriate)
  • assessment and diagnosis
  • asthma education / teaching
  • self-management / asthma action plan

Eligibility

Service targeted to:

  • Physician referral is required to access this service for patients 6 months of age to ≤18 years old

Wait Times

This will be determined based on established triage criteria for the asthma clinic. The family will be called with an appointment once the referral is processed.
