Oral Maxillofacial Surgery

Provides dental surgery.

Offers dental surgery, including:

  • elective jaw surgery such as temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) problems and osteotomies
  • emergent jaw surgeries related to traumatic injuries and infections
  • dental extractions (pulling teeth) for people who need more monitoring than a clinic can provide

Adults 17 years and older are cared for at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Children 17 and under are cared for at the Stollery Children's Hospital.
