Breast Health Clinic

The Breast Health Clinic will support breast cancer patients with assessment and diagnosis through treatment and recover.

The Breast Health Clinic, will accept referrals for patients with:
• A diagnosis of breast cancer
• A concerning palpable lump or other concerning finding on clinical exam including new nipple inversion, peau d'orange, eczema at areola (risk of Paget's disease)
• BIRADS 4 & 5 finding on diagnostic imaging
• Nipple discharge
• BRCA1/2 +, CHEK 2 + for Prophylactic Mastectomy
• Chronic breast infection (at least 3 episodes per year), abscess, or mastitis 

General Surgeons and Breast Health Nurse Navigators will support patients with assessment and diagnosis through treatment and recovery, including:
• Physician consultation..
• Arranging required blood work and diagnostic testing as needed. 
• Care coordination and case management by nurse navigators that specialize in breast health and breast cancer. 
• Navigation services, including education, advocacy, resource access, and support to assist with treatment option decisions. 
• Referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
