Continuing Care Services (West)

Offers 24/7 residential care for people who have complex health issues and can no longer live at home.

Provides care for people with long-term health concerns. In addition to 24/7 residential nursing care, this service offers:

  • physical, occupational, or recreational therapy
  • pharmacy, social work, volunteer or pastoral counselling services

Also offers services for clients who live in the community, which may include respite.

The use of the assessment tool will indicate the level of care required.

An estimated wait time will be provided at the time of appointment booking.

Fees

There is a daily fee for services as well as additional fees for personal services such as laundry, hairdressing, podiatry, etc.

If the client cannot afford the accommodation fee, they will meet with a social worker to explore options.
