This program offers education and support for people living with prediabetes and diabetes. Community education classes (currently online) are available to the general public. Diabetes assessments and ongoing management of diabetes concerns with a health care team is done at the diabetes specialty clinics in the Edmonton area.Patient services include: education insulin management Information and Support Line diabetes assessment and management in-person or telephone follow-up insulin pump consultation Healthcare provider services include: education Diabetes Information and Advice Line (DIAL) insulin start mentorship Community services include: Education at community organization/site Service offerings may differ depending on location.
