Neurology - Outpatients

The General Neurology Program offers comprehensive assessment, consultation and education for individuals and with a broad range of neurological concerns.

Provides assessment and consultation for people who have problems with their nervous system, including progressive neurological diseases and complex seizure disorders.

Education is offered to clients, their family members, community members and healthcare providers.

Hours of Operation

Dr. Ranawaya - Monday to Thursday: 8:30 to 16:30Hours Dr. Klein- Monday to Friday: 0900 to 1500hours Dr. Lafontaine- MOnday to Wednesday: 0900 to 1500hours

Service Providers May Include
dietitians, neurologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, registered nurses (RNs), social workers, speech language pathologists, therapy assistants
Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Whenever possible, a patient should be connected to a family doctor or general practitioner that oversees their medical care. Referrals are accepted by fax to Neurology Central Access and Triage for consideration of acceptance.

Wait Times

Wait time is 3 to 8 months.
