Infant Headshape Program

Provides a virtual presentation to teach ways to position a baby to help prevent and correct a flat spot on baby¿s head.

In response to provincial pandemic plan, please be advised that the Infant Head Shape Program (as a non-urgent program) at Alberta Children's Hospital is not currently accepting referrals for positional head shape concerns.

Parents and caregivers of infants are able to view a Virtual Infant Positioning presentation on the following website

doctors, occupational therapists (OTs), orthotisits, physiotherapists (PTs)
Eligibility

Baby must be between the ages of 0-5 months to attend a positioning class.

There must be a concern regarding the baby’s head shape (an identifiable flat area on baby’s head).

Service Access

No Referrals are currently accepted.
