Community Pediatric Asthma Service

One hour asthma education appointments for children and their family with mild to moderate asthma that includes a breathing test (simple spirometry) for children over 6 years of age. We also provided a customized Asthma Action Plan for every patient.

Gives children breathing tests (spirometry), and teaches children and their families about asthma in their doctor’s office or at a community clinic.

Certified Respiratory Educators:

  • teach children and their families about asthma in their doctor’s office or in a community clinic. Children over 6 years of age will also have a breathing test (simple spirometry).

Hours of Operation

Contact our booking clerk between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Clinics run at various times and locations all around the Calgary Zone.

We typically see children between 2 years to 18 years old. Children who are about 6 years old will also have a simple breathing test called spirometry.
