Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program

The Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program provides follow-up and monitoring of rehab needs of children and teens with moderate to severe brain injuries.

The Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program provides follow up and monitors the rehab needs of children and teens (from 2 – 17 years of age) with moderate (GCS 9 to 12) to severe (GCS 8 or less) brain injuries.

NOTE:  Patients with a mild brain injury/concussion are not assessed through this program. Patients in a coma are also not assessed in this clinic.

Eligibility
  • Patients aged 2 – 17 years of age
  • Have a moderate acquired brain injury (GCS 9-12) or severe acquired brain injury (GCS 8 or less)
  • Need a multidisciplinary team

    Note: the following patients are not assessed through this clinic:
    • Patients with a mild brain injury/concussion
    • Patients in a coma
