Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program

The Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program offers follow-up assessment and monitors the rehabilitation needs of children and adolescents with moderate to severe acquired brain injury.

This clinic is designed to provide follow-up assessment and monitors the rehabilitation needs of children and adolescents with moderate (GCS 9 to 12) to severe (GCS 8 or less) acquired brain injuries from two years of age until their 18th birthday.

NOTE: Patients in a coma or vegetative state are not assessed through the Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program.

Eligibility

Service is targeted to:

  • Children and adolescents 2-17 years of age with moderate (GCS 9-12) to severe (GCS >8) acquired brain injuries.
  • Patients in a coma or vegetative state are not assessed through the Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabiliation Program.
