TeleOphthalmology

Offers consultation by an ophthalmologist for 44 Alberta First Nation and Inuit Health Branch and eight Métis communities, BC, Yukon, NWT, Nunavut and Saskatchewan.

This program provides screening and assessment for Aboriginals who have diabetes for retinal and non-retinal problems such as:

  • diabetic
  • retinopath
  • glaucoma
  • macular degeneration
