The clinic focuses on prevention or recurrence of a stroke, and identification and management of risk factors, in clients who have had a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), or those at risk for stroke or TIA.Services include: Individual and education sessions related to stroke, lifestyle, and risk factors (Grande Prairie only) Stroke Navigator provides in person support for clients when attending their virtual health Edmonton Stroke Prevention Clinic appointments with the Neurologist. Referral to other healthcare professionals or programs as required Registration for the "Living with Stroke" virtual stroke support group for North Zone residents - please call the stroke department number for more information or to register for sessions
