Adolescent Pregnancy Clinic

Provides prenatal care for teens who are pregnant or think they might be.

Provides medical care, emotional support, nutrition teaching, and referrals as needed.

You will be assessed by the team to see what your needs are. The program offers:

  • resources (e.g. financial, housing, pregnancy tests, birth control information)
  • prenatal care (e.g. vitamins, check-ups, counselling)
  • hospital tours
  • the Health for 2 program
  • help with decision making regarding your pregnancy and referral to other resources if needed
  • pregnancy tests

We share care with an obstetrician. You can be part of the program for up to 6 months after you have your baby.

dietitians, nurse practitioners (NPs), social workers
Eligibility

For girls age 20 and under who are pregnant or think they might be.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

You can make an appointment or come as a walk-in on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
