TeleOphthalmology

An Ophthalmologist located in Edmonton provides expert consultation to rural sites using remote technology.

This service identifies the presence or absence of eye disease such as diabetic retinopathy, cataract, glaucoma, macular degeneration and eye strokes. A retinal camera is used to take exact, 3D pictures of the inner eye, enabling advanced eye screening anywhere and everywhere.
