Pre-operative Assessment Clinic

Provides assessment and preparation for people before they have surgery.

Assesses people before they have surgery and includes:

takes a health history

  • arranges any diagnostic tests needed before surgery
  • consults with anesthesia, internal medicine and allied health services as needed
  • provides teaching and information to prepare people for surgery.
