Day Procedures

Provides care for people who are at the hospital for surgery, tests, and procedures, that do not require an overnight stay.

Services may be booked (elective) or semi-urgent, including:

• minor surgery
• procedures to diagnose and treat diseases (e.g., endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, Pacemaker insertions, urodynamic tests, motility studies)
• treatment for chronic pain

Also manages the Colorectal Screening Program, but the program is located at the Coaldale Health Center.
