Provides assessment, work-up, and follow-up for lung transplant patients south of Red Deer.This service provides: work-up for assessment of eligibility for patients with end-stage lung disease education for patients with end-stage lung disease waitlist work-up for lung transplant surgery monitoring of patients on the transplant wait list monitoring and treatment of post transplant patients Lung transplant surgery is performed in Edmonton. Patients are followed in collaboration with the Edmonton Lung Transplant Program. Pediatric patients are followed at the Alberta Children's Hospital.
