Building Trades of Alberta Courage Centre

The Building Trades of Alberta Courage Centre (BTACC) offers rehabilitation services that use technology to assist people with physical and cognitive problems.

Some of the technology used includes:

  • a virtual reality pod with hardware that tracks motion,
  • a driving simulator to train clients to drive again,
  • a robotic-assisted gait trainer (Lokomat) to assist clients in learning to walk again, and
  • a classroom with computers and a SMART board to assist clients with improving their memory and decision-making skills.
