Provides education and consultation to clients with severe mental illness and severe addiction issues.A voluntary, specialized inpatient program offering assessment and treatment for people with co-occurring severe mental illness and severe addiction issues. Patients participate in supportive concurrent recovery, and development of functional and coping skills necessary to live in their home community environments. These include:
- individual and group processes
- treatment from a trauma informed perspective
- specialized concurrent disorder focused programming to support recovery
This 22 day program provides treatment to adults between the ages of 18-64 years.
Adults between the ages of 18-24 and pregnant women are given priority.
This service is provided by Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health Services contracted service providers.
