Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic

This tertiary level specialist clinic assesses and diagnoses children with complex neuromotor development and physical rehabilitation needs.

Provides assessment and diagnosis for children with complex physical medicine or neuromotor developmental needs including children who have failed to meet gross motor milestones, such as delayed walking and /or decreased muscle strength or increased tone.

The clinic is staffed by a pediatric physiatrist who also works at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.

Based on the information given in the referral the child is triaged to see the most appropriate clinician. The referral may be triaged to a clinic at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.

The clinic does not provide assessment for autism or other learning or behavioral concerns.
