General Pulmonary Clinic

 Location: South Health Campus

This clinic provides respiratory / pulmonary medicine.

This service provides diagnostic, assessment, treatment, and follow-up care services for:

  • General Respirology
  • Asthma and related illnesses
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • SOB (Shortness of Breath)
  • Cough

Offers teaching activities for respiratory clients. Services include:

  • assessing client learning needs
  • planning and delivering teaching activities
  • encouraging clients to live a non-smoking lifestyle
  • supporting research in respiratory care

Eligibility

Eligibility is dependent on testing done by the referring physician.

Service Access

Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information.

Once a referral is accepted, Central Access and Triage will book an appointment with one of the 4 acute care sites in Calgary.
