WalkABle Alberta

Program to be implemented at the community level to improve walkability.

WalkABle Alberta is a Chronic Disease Prevention Program designed to reduce physical inactivity by improving community walkability. WalkABle Alberta works with communities to help them make walking an easy choice of physical activity to incorporate into citizen’s daily lives. Stakeholders create a plan specific to the community, leveraging local assets, to make positive change.

This program is free to the public.
