Cardio-Oncology Clinic

 Location: South Health Campus

The Cardio-Oncology Clinic is a consultative service for adult patients who are currently under the care of an oncologist or hematologist who may be experiencing or at risk of developing cardiac issues as a result of cancer treatment.

This clinic may perform the following services:

  • cardiac surveillance of patients during treatment and for 5 years after the conclusion of anthracycline chemotherapy treatment
  • management of Oncology patients with concerning cardiac symptoms during or post chemotherapy treatment
  • consultation for cardiac clearance for patients requiring cancer treatment
  • management of patients diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis
  • management of patients treated with tryosine kinase inhibitors or monoclonal antibodies for cancer

Eligibility

An adult patient currently under the care of an oncologist or hematolgoist who may be experience or at risk of developing cardiac issues as a result of cancer or cancer treatment.
